Until I found out that there is a free trial version of WinRAR which I had not used before, and when used WinRAR to unzip the files for the 2 part download instead of the default windows 10 program, sure enough they were formatted properly and the download went smoothly. I had tried a bunch of different things to get the mod to work, I used different sites, checked all the forums, and asked around on here a few times, but nothing. So I, and I assume at least a few other people couldn't download the mod properly. So if you then tried to use the 2F, the setup would again give the "insert disk 2" notification, but when you specify the location of the second file it would say "setup can not open the following archive file (you may have inserted the wrong disk)".
However, for some reason the wizard is bugged, and when you start up the SF wizard it would stop half way through the setup and say "insert disk 2". There is also a 2 file download (2F) where you go through the same process, but when it is moving the files it notifies you to "insert disk 2" and prompts you to specify the location of the second part of the download to finish the process.

So for the past few months I have been on/off of trying and failing to get the DarthMod for Empire to work, and have finally found what I >think< is the issue.
